Windows Azure One-click Service

Table of Contents
To use your domain with an Azure App Service app, add the records Azure shows: an A record for the domain apex, and a TXT record named asuid that verifies you own the domain.
Note
The one-click Windows Azure service adds an ALIAS record and a legacy awverify record. It does not add the asuid TXT record that Azure now checks, so add Azure’s records yourself instead.
Get the records from Azure
Add the domain to your app in the Azure portal. Azure then shows the records to add. See Microsoft’s guide to setting up an existing custom domain.
Add the records in DNSimple

For www, Azure shows a CNAME record and a TXT record named asuid.www. If you applied the Windows Azure service earlier, remove the service first.
