Netlify One-click Service

Table of Contents

Netlify builds, deploys, and hosts websites. The Netlify one-click service adds an ALIAS record for the domain apex and a CNAME record for www, both pointing to your site’s netlify.app address.

Tip

We recommend the Netlify Connector instead. It keeps checking the connection to your Netlify site, which the one-click service does not. The service’s setup page links to the connector too.

Add the domain in Netlify first

In Netlify, add your domain to your site as a domain you already own. See Netlify’s guide to getting started with domains.
