LaunchRock One-click Service

LaunchRock builds pre-launch landing pages. The LaunchRock one-click service adds an ALIAS record for the domain apex and a wildcard CNAME record (*), both pointing to host.launchrock.com.

Add the domain in LaunchRock first

Add the domain to your LaunchRock site, following LaunchRock’s guide to using a custom domain.

Add the LaunchRock service

To add the LaunchRock service
  1. From the domain list, click the domain name.
  2. Click the tab on the left side.

  3. In the card, click , or if the domain already has a service.

  4. Click the tab, and click next to LaunchRock.

The service has no setup form, so DNSimple adds the records as soon as you click .

The wildcard record sends every subdomain that has no record of its own to LaunchRock. Subdomains with their own records, such as a mail record, are not affected. To remove the service later, see Remove a one-click service.
