KickoffLabs One-click Service

KickoffLabs builds landing pages, contests, and waitlists. To connect your domain, add the CNAME record KickoffLabs shows for it. The host and value are specific to your KickoffLabs account.

Note

The one-click KickoffLabs service adds an ALIAS record for the domain apex and a wildcard CNAME record, both pointing to proxy.kickofflabs.com. That is not KickoffLabs’ current setup, so add the record yourself as described below.

Get the record from KickoffLabs

Add the hostname you want to use in KickoffLabs, and it shows the CNAME record’s host and value. KickoffLabs recommends a subdomain, such as join.example.com, so your main website’s records stay as they are. See KickoffLabs’ guide to custom domains.

Add the record in DNSimple

To add the KickoffLabs record
  1. From the list, click the domain, then click at the top-right.
  2. Click and select .
  3. In , enter the host KickoffLabs shows, such as join.
  4. In , enter the value KickoffLabs shows.
  5. Click .

Then check the domain in KickoffLabs. If you applied the KickoffLabs service earlier, remove the service, which deletes the old records it added.
