To set up your team in DNSimple, start with multi-factor authentication (MFA) for every member, then make sure each member has access to the domains they need.

1. Set up multi-factor authentication

First, check that you have MFA set up on your own user. See Enable multi-factor authentication.

If you are an administrator for your team, we recommend turning on MFA enforcement, so every member has to set up MFA before they can work with your domains and DNS. See Enable MFA enforcement.

2. Check domain access

If you are a new member of an existing team account and do not have full access, an administrator may need to give you access to one or more domains in the account. Ask your administrator to confirm you have access to the correct domains.

If you are an administrator for an account, read What is Domain Access Control? for an overview of access levels. Then follow Domain Access Control for a video walk-through and the configuration steps.

3. Learn about zones, domains, and other features

The Getting Started page links to guides on everything you can do with your DNSimple account, including managing zones and registering domains.
